Eugene Beierle, Sr.

Eugene Beierle, Sr., age 72, of Aurora, died Thursday night, April 11, 2002, at Memorial Hospital in Aurora.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Chapel of Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. Rev. Jim Garfield will officiate. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary website at higbymortuary.com.

OBITUARY: EUGENE BEIERLE, SR.

Eugene G. Beierle, Sr., the son of Chester and Martha (Brandt) Beierle, was born in Columbus, Nebraska on March 25, 1930 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on April 11, 2002, at the age of 72 years.

He was raised in Columbus. Eugene attended school in Columbus and Shelby. He entered the Navy in 1949.

Eugene was united in marriage to Linda Mazuch on February 25, 1984 at Columbus, Nebraska. Eugene worked many years as an over the road truck driver, he later worked for Knight's Construction in Chapman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant sisters,

Eugene is survived by his wife, Linda of Aurora; three sons, David Beierle and his wife Susan of Omaha, Jason Mazuch of Sparta, Georgia and Eugene Beierle, Jr. of Aurora; one daughter, Patricia Swanson and her husband Mike of Council Bluffs, Iowa and three grandchildren.
