Carrol Fraass

Carrol Fraass, age 53, of Marquette, died Friday afternoon, February 8, 2002, at Immanuel Lutheran Hospital in Omaha.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Chapel of Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. Interment will be in Richland Cemetery near Marquette. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 P.M. OBITUARY: CARROL FRAASS

Carrol Lee Fraass, the son of Dave and Marilyn (Dress) Fraass, was born in Sidney, Nebraska on August 19, 1948 and died in Omaha, Nebraska on February 8, 2002, at the age of 53 years.

He grew up in Sidney and graduated from Lodgepole High School in 1964. Carrol served in the United States Army shortly after graduation.

Carrol was united in marriage to Ruth Prochnow on November 22, 1970, at St. John's Church in Seward, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Marquette. One son was born to this union, Dustin Lee Fraass on September 27, 1982. Carrol worked for many years in the Grand Island area in the mechanical field. At the time of his death, he was employed by Great Plain Material and Handling in Grand Island.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and nephew, Bryan.

Carrol is survived by his wife Ruth Fraass of Marquette; son Dustin Fraass of Marquette; parents, Dave and Marilyn Fraass of Crook, Colorado; twin sister, Cheryl Davidson and her husband Myron of Wheatridge, Colorado; three brothers, Rich Fraass of Crook, Colorado, Scott Fraass and his wife Bonnie of Crook, Colorado and Daryl Fraas and his wife Annie of North Platte and nieces and nephews.
