Margaret LightwineMargaret Cleonne Lightwine, age 64, of Aurora died Saturday, March 2, 2002, at her home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 P.M., Monday at the United Methodist Church in Aurora. Dr. Joe Scahill will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 P.M. Sunday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. OBITUARY: CLEONNE LIGHTWINE Margaret Cleonne Lightwine, the daughter of Felix and Freda (Thallas) Pollard, was born in Missouri Valley, Iowa on December 19, 1937 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on March 2, 2002, at the age of 64 years. She grew up in Missouri Valley where she was a member of the class of 1956. Cleonne was united in marriage to Donald Lightwine on January 30, 1956, at Laverne, Minnesota. After they were married they moved to a farm near Pisgah, Iowa. During their marriage they lived in Missouri Valley, Iowa; Madison, Nebraska; Loveland, Colorado and Laurel, Nebraska before moving to Aurora in 1965. Cleonne was a member of the United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She taught Sunday school and was a Cub Scout leader. She enjoyed raising flowers, picture framing and other crafts, but she especially loved spoiling her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Delores Jones. Cleonne is survived by her husband Don of Aurora; three children, Shelly Weedin and her husband Craig of Aurora, Mark Lightwine and his wife Beth of Fairmont and Tammy Case and her husband Gary of Oakland; 10 grandchildren, Nate, Luke, Seth and Drew Weedin of Aurora, Cody Lightwine of McCook, Heidi, Kelsey and Tyce Lightwine of Fairmont and Tanner and Teigan Case of Oakland; one brother, Bill Jones of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister-in-laws, Juanita Carrier, Mary Lou Moore and her husband Bill and Annetta Vallier and her husband Dean; loving friends, Peg Lackore and Danny Smith and nieces and nephews. |
