Gary Atwill, age 53, of Aurora, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at his home in Aurora.

OBITUARY: GARY ATWILL

Gary Ray Atwill, the son of Arthur L. and Betty (Ferguson) Atwill, was born in Smith Center, Kansas on June 9, 1958 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on August 31, 2011, at the age of 53.

He grew up in Smith Center, Kansas and graduated from Smith Center High School in 1976. Following his graduation he attended both Kansas Wesleyan in Salina, Kansas and the University of Kansas.

Gary owned and operated Bank Market Services while he lived in Aurora.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Chris Atwill of Lincoln and Andy Atwill of Lincoln; daughter, Sarah Herman-Atwill of Lincoln; two granddaughters and one grandson; brother, Donald (Renee) Atwill of Salina, Kansas; sister Teri (Dave) Atwill-Crockett of Haskell, Oklahoma. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
