OBITUARY: Elva Bartlett

Elva Bartlett, the daughter of Elmer and Mary Etta (Eastman) Lantzer, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on October 22, 1902, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on April 25, 1991, at the age of 88 years, 6 months, and 4 days.

She grew up in the Aurora and Hampton area, and attended Aurora High School, and later worked at the TB Hospital in Kearney.

On May 19, 1945, she was united in marriage to Donald Bartlett, at Smith Center, Kansas. After their marriage they lived in Kearney for 9 years, then moved to Phoenix, Arizona for a few months, and then returned to Kearney for several years, then moved to Hastings where she worked in the kitchen at Hastings College. They moved to Aurora 23 years ago, where they have since resided.

Elva was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Earl, Wallace and George Lantzer.

She is survived by her husband Donald of Aurora.
