Funeral Services were held 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 15, 1997 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Cedarview Cemetery in Doniphan, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: Lloyd Baum

John Lloyd Baum, the son of Chester and Ellen (Bister) Baum, was born at Phillips, Nebraska, on March 15, 1914, and died suddenly, while vacationing, at Aurora, Nebraska, on September 10, 1997, at the age of 83 years, 5 months, and 25 days.

On June 15, 1941, he was united in marriage to Wilma Breitenfeldt.

They resided in Hawthorne, California, from 1941 to 1996, when they moved to Canterberry Square in Woddinville, Washington, to be near their son and his family.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Gardena, California.

Survivors include his wife and son Dennis, both of Woddinville, Washington; a half-brother Vern “Bud” Johnson of Phillips; a grandson David of Chevy Chase, Maryland, and a grand daughter Julieanna of Hillsboro, Oregon.
