Graveside Services were held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Grand Island, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: Elsie Beebe

Elsie Ellen Beebe, the daughter of Ellsworth and Anna (Hallman) Wright, was born at Wagner, South Dakota, on April 7, 1901, and passed away at Rapid City, South Dakota, on August 31, 1990, at the age of 89 years, 4 months, and 24 days.

She grew up and attended Schools at Lake Andes, South Dakota.

On June 9, 1917, she was united in marriage to Rev. Chester Arthur Beebe at Lake Andes, South Dakota. Her husband was a minister and his job took them to several places in South Dakota. He retired in 1957 and they then operated nursing homes in Chadron and Aurora. They moved to Rapid City in 1966.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Wayne; 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her 3 sons, Carlyle and Donald of Rapid City, South Dakota and Dean of Denton, Texas; 2 daughters, Eileen Hyde of Boise, Idaho and Maxine Harmon of Bowie, Texas; brothers, Ellwworth Wright of Ontario, Oregon and Voyle Wright of Aberdeen, Washington; sister Beulah Hargrove of Zilah, Washington; 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
