Lola Bedinger

Lola Bedinger, age 95, of Aurora, died, Friday, November 27, 2009 at Memorial Community Care.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, December 12th at United Lutheran Church in Hampton. Rev. Chris Kester Beyer will officiate. Inurnment will be at the Sheldon Cemetery in Sheldon, Illinois at a later date. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. OBITUARY: LOLA BEDINGER

Lola Bedinger, the daughter of Amos and Martha (Dalton) Dalton, was born in Brook, Indiana on September 1, 1914 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on November 27, 2009, at the age of 95.

Lola grew up in Kentland, Indiana where she attended schools in that area.

Lola was united in marriage to Joseph Bedinger on February 15, 1932, at Kentland, Indiana. Following their marriage they farmed for 39 years in Kentland. Joseph passed away on August 8, 1985. Lola moved to Aurora in 1995 to be near her son Bill.

Lola enjoyed crocheting and she especially enjoyed following St. Louis Cardinals baseball.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Fred Bedinger, four sisters and daughter-in-law, Marian Bedinger.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, William Bedinger of Hampton; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Vergas of Arizona; six grandchildren, Debra Gans of Lincoln, Diane (Dennis) Farver of Newton, Iowa, Janet (Keaton) Beaumont of Woodbridge, Virginia, Carrie, Becky and Alan of Arizona; 15 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
