Frances BerggrenFuneral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, December 16, 1998 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Monroe Church Cemetery in Phillips, Nebraska. OBITUARY: Frances Berggren Frances Johanna Berggren, the daughter of Ernest and Sara (Odell) Berggren, was born in Hamilton County, Nebraska, on October 29, 1899, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on December 14, 1998, at the age of 99 years, 1 month, and 15 days. She grew up and attended country schools in Hamilton County, and attended Wahoo Lutheran College for four years, where she received two diplomas in normal training and piano. She taught school in Hamilton County and had many piano students, even after moving to Aurora in 1944. In September of 1993, she entered the Memorial Community Care in Aurora. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Knute and Eric, and one sister Judith Miller. Survivors include nieces and nephews. |
