Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 18, 1985 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Giltner Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Mary Bish

Mary Esther Bish, the daughter of David and Margaret (Boyd) Williams, was born at Giltner, Nebraska, on February 20, 1899, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on December 14, 1985, at the age of 86 years, 9 months and 14 days.

Her childhood was spent in Giltner, except for 2 years in Scotia. She attended Giltner High School.

On December 2, 1919, she was united in marriage to Oran R. Bish at Giltner.

They farmed in the Giltner area and in 1963, they moved into Aurora.

Mary was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church and was also a member of the Royal Neighbors, the Greenwood Club, and the North Community Club in Aurora.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband, Oran; 2 sons, Doyle and Deryl Bish both of Giltner; a daughter, Maxine Sargent of Bend, Oregon; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and close friends.
