Beth Blomstrand

Beth Blomstrand, age 76, of Aurora died Friday night, November 3, 2000 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Aurora. Dr. Joe Scahill will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Monday at Higby Mortuary. No Viewing. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the family.

OBITUARY: BETH BLOMSTRAND

Beth Marie Blomstrand, the daughter of Edwin and Rissie (Eggert) Huenefeld was born in Omaha, Nebraska on March 25, 1924 and died in Aurora, Nebraska, on November 3, 2000, at the age of 76 years, 7 months and 8 days.

She grew up on a farm south of Aurora. Beth attended country school, then Aurora High School. She then graduated from high school in Rogers, Arkansas in 1941.

In 1945, Beth was united in marriage to Greg Blomstrand and later divorced. Beth has served as an Administrative Assistant for the Aurora Public Schools since 1969.

She was a member of United Methodist Church in Aurora and the Aurora Planning Commission.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, Kim of Denver, Colorado, Tom of Aurora and Jon and his wife Lynn of Amery, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Clarissa Blomstrand of Aurora, and Justin, Kyle and Nicolas Blomstrand of Amery, Wisconsin.
