Arthur BondersonFuneral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Friday, October 31, 1997 at Zion Lutheran Church in Hampton, Nebraska. Interment was held in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. OBITUARY: Arthur Willis Bonderson Willis was born November 14, 1932 at Park Rapids, Minnesota to Arthur and Elvira Bonderson. He was baptized December 12, 1932 at Park Rapids. He moved to San Diego with his parents and sisters in 1936. Confirmed May 25, 1947 at Faith Lutheran Church, San Diego where he was a member until 1969 and transferred to Christ Lutheran. Willis attended Wilson Jr. High and graduated form Hoover High School in June of 1952. He served as an MP in the U.S. Army in Vienna from January of 1953 to December of 1954 during the Korean War. Willis sang in the choir at Faith Lutheran and Christ Lutheran Church, was Assistant Financial Secretary at Faith Lutheran and Financial Secretary at Christ Lutheran and helped count offerings for many years. His occupation was General Machinist and worked at General Tool, Convair and for 26 years at Circle-Master, Inc. in Santee. He retired (Disabled) in June of 1995. Married to Juline Parpart on October 12, 1962 at Zion Lutheran Church, Hampton, Nebraska. He is survived by his wife Juline and one daughter Anne, two sisters, Louise Mobley of El Cajon and Marilyn Relyea of Las Vegas, Nevada and one brother Danny of Boston, Massachusetts. Also, one daughter Darlene McMaster by a previous marriage and two grandchildren Stefanie and Richard. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Betty Bruce and Ruth Wininger. |
