Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 22, 1986 at the United Methodist Church in Ansley, Nebraska. Interment was held in the Mason City Cemetery in Mason City, Nebraska.

Mary Ann Fries was born February 8, 1949 in Minden, Nebraska to Donald C. and Rodgie Newman Fries, and died October 19, 1986 at Giltner, Nebraska at the age of 37 years, 8 months, and 11 days.

She was gradated from Ansley High School and Springfield Business College.

Mary Ann was married briefly to John Dobesh in 1969. On November 27, 1976 she married Delmer Brandt, and the past 10 years they made their home in Giltner.

In childhood it was learned she had epilepsy. Throughout her lifetime she dealt with her handicap doing all the things normal people do, although the handicap became increasingly severe.

She especially enjoyed their animals and the flowers in her garden.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband Delmer, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Donald C. Fries, a sister Sally Babbitt of Broken Bow, several nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
