Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 3, 1989 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Lucile Bremer

Lucile A. Bremer, the daughter of John and Marie (Collett) Bremer, was born at York, Nebraska, on November 7, 1908, and passed away at Holdrege, Nebraska, on April 30, 1989, at the age of 80 years, 5 months, and 23 days.

She moved to Aurora as a child, and graduated from Aurora High School. She then attended Hastings College for 2 years. She taught school around Aurora, and then moved to New York City, where she worked as an accountant. She moved back to Aurora and worked as a secretary for the Federated Church for 10 years.

She resided at the Colonial Corners in Aurora for 4 years, and in January she moved to the Methodist Memorial Homes in Holdrege, to be near her sister.

Lucile was a member of the Aurora Presbyterian United Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Gerald and Ralph Bremer, and one sister Marie Meyer.

She is survived by one sister, Bernice Regelin of Loomis, Nebraska, a sister-in-law Ede Bremer of Lincoln, and nieces and nephews.
