Segel BudlerGraveside Services were held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 17, 1989 at the Hampton Cemetery. OBITUARY: Segel Budler Segel Gerald Budler, the son of John and Tillie (Zook) Budler, was born at Hampton, Nebraska, on May 28, 1911, and passed away at Grand Island, Nebraska, on May 15, 1989, at the age of 77 years, 11 months, and 17 days. He grew up at Hampton and graduated from Hampton Schools. He served his country during World War II, in the U.S. Navy, from 1942 to 1945. “Sig” worked with his father in the plumbing and electrical business until 1953, when he moved to Modesto, California. In 1970, he moved back to Hampton, and later resided at the Hamilton Manor in Aurora for several years, and on July 5, 1988 he entered the Nebraska Veterans Home in Grand Island. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Myrtle Black in 1970, and one brother Maurice. He is survived by one sister Ona Arndt of Hampton. |
