Norma BudnickFuneral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 3, 1992 at Zion Lutheran Church in Hampton. Interment was held in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. OBITUARY: Norma Budnick Norma Irene Budnick, the daughter of Gustav and Wilhelmina (Rau) Heiden, was born at Hampton, Nebraska, on September 30, 1910, and died at Henderson, Nebraska, on March 31, 1992, at the age of 81 years, 6 months, and 1 day. She grew up in the rural Hampton area, and attended country school. All her life was spent in the Hampton area, except for the years 1939 to 1940 which were spent in Scottsbluff. On August 31, 1930, she was united in marriage to Paul Budnick at Hampton. He preceded her in death on August 21, 1974. She lived on the farm north of Hampton until December of 1975, when she moved into Hampton. She entered the Henderson Nursing Home on November 7, 1991. Norma was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church, and she enjoyed music, quilts, crafts, and collecting plates and bells. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her son Robert of Hampton; 2 daughters, Ione Arnett of Hampton, and Wanda Heins of York; one brother, Clarence Heiden of Hampton, 3 sisters, Gertrude Rohde, and Frances Rehrs both of York, and Irene Mundt of Polk; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. |
