Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, July 1, 1986 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Sandie Cameron

Sandie Lyle Cameron, the son of James and Jane (Salmon) Cameron, was born at Stockham, Nebraska, on May 26, 1903, and passed away at Grand Island, Nebraska, on June 27, 1986, at the age of 83 years, 1 month, and 1 day.

He grew up in the Stockham area and graduated from the Stockham High School. After graduation he began farming in the Stockham area and later in the Phillips area.

On May 18, 1929, he was united in marriage to Helen Miller, at Hastins. She preceded him in death on September 13, 1984.

They farmed until Sandie retired in 1976. In 1980 they moved into their present home in Aurora.

He was a member of the Aurora Presbyterian United Church of Christ.

Sandie was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother, James Cameron.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his 2 daughters, Laura J. Klug of Maxwell, Nebraska and Margaret L. Gilliland of Rochester, Michigan; 3 grandchildren, and many other relatives and close friends.
