Ramona CarlileRamona Carlile, age 71, of Phillips, died Saturday morning, June 2, 2001 at a Lincoln Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday in the chapel of Higby Mortuary in Aurora. There will be no viewing or visitation as Mrs. Carlile was cremated. OBITUARY: RAMONA CARLILE Ramona Lee Carlile, the daughter of Leo and Thelma (Telinde) Wills, was born in Enid, Oklahoma on January 12, 1930 and died in Lincoln, Nebraska on June 2, 2001, at the age of 71 years. She grew up in Enid, Oklahoma, with a short stay in California, before relocating to Nebraska in 1966, settling in Phillips, Nebraska in 1971. She worked many years in the Mutual Department on the Nebraska Horseracing Circuit. Ramona is survived by her 2 daughters, Sharon Cheatham of Perkins, Oklahoma and Dian Griffith of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one son, Alan Carlile of Aurora, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a close friend, Dr. Arthur Plith of Phillips, Nebraska. |
