Ervin Carlson

Ervin Carlson, age 82, of Marquette, died Friday evening, September 21, 2001, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Higby Mortuary in Aurora. Rev. Mark Dunham will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: ERVIN CARLSON

Ervin L. Carlson, the son of Ernest and Nannie (Lorentz) Carlson, was born in Hamilton County, Nebraska on May 19, 1919 and died in Marquette, Nebraska on September 21, 2001, at the age of 82 years.

He grew up on the family farm near Marquette. Ervin lived with his parents, where he helped them on the farm. He enjoyed riding in the combine and boat rides that he took at the family cabin. Ervin loved taking long walks around the farm and enjoyed watching traffic pass by the farm.

Ervin was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Adelin Carlson and brother, Rudy Carlson.

Ervin is survived by his sister-in-law, Irene Carlson; three nieces, Barbara Bebee of Maryland, Ardith Handrup of Hampton and Dorene Borgquist of Virginia; two nephews, Curt Carlson of Marquette and Bill Carlson of Denver, Colorado; 19 great nieces and nephews.
