Adelin Carlson

Adelin Carlson, age 85, of Aurora died Sunday, September 12, 1999, at Hamilton Manor in Aurora.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. September 15, 1999 at Higby Mortuary in Aurora. Rev. Mark Dunham will officiate. Interment will be at Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 on Tuesday at Higby Mortuary.

OBITUARY: ADELIN CARLSON

Adelin M. Carlson, the daughter of Ernest and Nannie (Lorentz) Carlson, was born in Hamilton County in Nebraska on April 22, 1914 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on September 12, 1999, at the age of 85 years, 4 months and 20 days.

She grew up on a farm near Marquette and went to District 82 School through 8th grade. Adelin lived with her parents, where she helped them on the farm. She moved into Hamilton Manor in Aurora after leaving the farm.

Adelin enjoyed sewing, making quilts and cooking Swedish food.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by two brothers, Rudy Carlson of Marquette and Ervin Carlson of Marquette; three nieces, Barbara Bebee of Maryland, Ardith Handrup of Hampton, Dorene Borgquist of Virginia; two nephews, Curt Carlson of Marquette and Bill Carlson of Chicago, Illinois; 19 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece.
