Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 9, 1986 at the Aurora Evangelical Free Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Steven Cerny

Steven Curtis Cerny, 14, died Sunday, April 6, 1986 near Aurora.

Steven Cerny was born May 15, 1971 at Kimball, Nebraska to Terry and Rogene (Ljunggren) Cerny. In November of 1971 the family moved to Grand Island, Nebraska. He attended grade school at Walnut Jr. High in Grand Island. He’s been attending Aurora Jr. High School since September of 1985. He was a member of the Aurora Chapter of FFA. Steve was a honor student.

Steve attended the Evangelical Free Church and youth group in Harvard.

Steve is survived by his mother, Rogene Shoemaker, a brother, Jason Cerny, a sister Regina Shoemaker of Grand Island. His father, Terry Cerny of Loveland, Colorado. His grandparents, Lloyd and Bertha Ljunggren of rural Harvard and Ernest and Bonnie Cerny of Arthur. Great-grandmother Mrs. Len Smith of Fullerton and Adeline Armstrong of Grand Island. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and other friends.
