Troy Childers
Troy Childers, age 28, formerly of Aurora, died Monday afternoon, November 24, 2003, in a grain bin accident in Tamora. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, November 29th at the First Christian Church in Aurora. Rev. Jim Garfield will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 P.M. Friday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary. Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary website at higbymortuary.com. OBITUARY: TROY CHILDERS Troy David Childers was born March 18, 1975 in Friend, Nebraska. Troy was #3 in a family of 4 children. There was sister, Tammy and brothers, Travis and Titus. Later came, brother-in-law Josh, sister-in-law Jennifer and sister-in-law, Erin. A fiancée Cortney and two bright shining star nephews, Alexander John Parks and Chaz Robert Childers. Troy done all the usual things, school, graduation from Aurora, sports, jobs, hunting, hunting and more hunting. You see this isn't an ordinary obituary, but Troy wasn't an ordinary guy. He was special. What we would like you to know is not his past, but his present. On Monday, November 24th Troy was happy and at peace. He had just come home from a hunting adventure, he said his, "I love you's" to Cortney, and was on his way with the rest of the day.
