Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 1, 1985 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Marion O. Coleman

Marion O. Coleman, the son of William and Daisy Mae (Angel) Coleman, was born at Frerick County, Maryland, on March 12, 1908, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on April 29, 1985, at the age of 77 years, 1 month and 17 days.

He grew up in Maryland and lived and worked in Washington, D.C. as an accountant for General Services Administration for over 30 years.

On March 29, 1958, he was united in marriage to Edna Ashford in Washington, D.C. She preceded him in death on April 22, 1983.

They moved to Aurora in 1980 where they had since resided.

While living in Washington, D.C. Marion was affiliated with the Toastmasters and Masons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and 10 brothers and sisters.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are 2 sons, Edward Coleman of Washington, D.C. and Rev. William Coleman of Aurora; one step-daughter, Mrs. Dawn Eaker of Las Altos, California; 2 sisters, Mildred Coleman and Katie McCawley of Hanover, Pennsylvania; and 5 grandchildren.
