Larry Conn

Larry Conn, age 53, of Aurora, died Friday, July 6, 2001, at the Veteran's Hospital in Omaha.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M., Tuesday at the Higby Mortuary Chapel in Aurora. Rev. Jim Garfield will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: LARRY CONN

Larry Joe Conn, the son of Joe and Nellie Irene (Wheeler) Conn, was born in Salina, Kansas on August 23, 1947 and died in Omaha, Nebraska on July 6, 2001, at the age of 53 years.

Larry grew up in Salina and Osborn area with his family. He served in Vietnam in the Army.

Larry was united in marriage to Elizabeth Ritta on May 16, 1981. He was a police officer for the City of Aurora and worked for the Hamilton County Ambulance Service. Larry delivered papers for the Grand Island Independent and the Omaha World Herald in Aurora. He also was a bundle hauler for the World Herald in Omaha.

He liked fishing, reading, working on his computer and his shih tzus.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, niece and nephew.

Larry is survived by his wife, Betty Conn of Aurora; two brothers, Jerry Conn of Jewel, Kansas and Mike Conn of Salina, Kansas; sister, Pat Rausch of Jewel, Kansas and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
