Anna CraftFuneral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 26, 1979 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Anna Craft Anna Caroline Craft, the daughter of Fritz and Elizabeth Weber Hoefer, was born at Aurora, Nebraska on February 22, 1881, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska on January 23, 1979 at the age of 97 years, 11 months, and 1 day. She was a child of pioneer parents. Most of her life was spent in Aurora. She was a very active member of the Federated Church as long as her health permitted. During World War 2 she was very active in the Red Cross in the area, and was a benefactor of the Aurora Museum. She attended the Aurora Schools, and was a graduate of the University of Nebraska. She is survived by a son Fred of Roca, Nebraska, a daughter Mrs. Elizabeth (John) Unthank of Lincoln, Nebraska, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild. |
