Kenneth Dangler

Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 22, 1983 at the Giltner United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Case Cemetery near Giltner.

OBITUARY: Kenneth E. Dangler

Kenneth E. Dangler, the son of Oscar and Jennie Case Dangler, was born near Trumbull, Nebraska, on July 3, 1913. His death occurred at Aurora, Nebraska, on June 20, 1983, at the age of 69 years, 11 months and 17 days.

His entire lifetime had been spent in the vicinity of Trumbull and Giltner, where he grew to manhood and received his education in the public schools of that vicinity.

He was engaged in farming all his lifetime.

On October 23, 1938 he was united in marriage to Lucile Reubsamen at the home of her parents near Harvard. Two sons and two daughters were born to bless their home.

Kenneth was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church in Giltner and was active in church affairs, having taught Sunday School for many years and was on the building committee for the new church when it was built in Giltner. While his children were growing up, he was very active in 4-H work and a leader and assistant leader. While Case School District was active, he was on the School Board for that District.

His parents had preceded him in death.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife, Lucile; two sons, Robert Duane Dangler and Willard Kenneth Dangler both of Aurora; two daughters Mrs. Mary Ann Linder of Columbus, Nebraska and Mrs. Ruth Marie Pezley of Juniata, Nebraska; one brother, Lawrence Dangler of Trumbull and one sister Mrs. Eva Robertshaw also of Trumbull; 9 grandchildren and other relatives and many close friends.
