Rosie Doell

Rosie Doell, age 85, of Aurora died Friday evening, July 19, 2002, at Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday at the Assembly of God Church in Aurora. Rev. Jim Garfield will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: ROSIE DOELL

Rosie Eleanor (Kirkpatrick) (Buller) Doell, the daughter of William A. and Martha E. (Smith) Kirkpatrick, was born at Aurora, Nebraska on May 10, 1917 and died at Aurora, Nebraska on July 19, 2002, at the age of 85.

William A. and Martha E. Kirkpatrick moved to Van Wert, Iowa when Rosie was an infant. Rosie started school in a country school in Iowa. The family moved back to Aurora in February 1925, where Rosie continued her schooling.

Rosie married John H. Buller on April 1, 1934 at Aurora, Nebraska.

On July 21, 1955, she was united in marriage to Abe J. Doell at Aurora, Nebraska. They raised seven children, John, Janice, Jim, Joyce Ann, Jerold, Jill and Jeff.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, John Eugene Buller, one granddaughter and five brothers and sisters.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her six children, Janice Trewern and her husband Jim of New Mexico, Jim Doell and his wife Jane of Washington, Joyce Ann Doell and her special friend Roger of Sutherland, Jerold Doell and his wife Yvonne of Lincoln, Jill Stevens of Colorado and Jeff Doell and his wife Nancy of Aurora; 23 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Jim Kirkpatrick and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
