Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 17, 1993 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Emma Donaldson

Emma Kate Donaldson, the daughter of George and Parma (Craig) Smith, was born at Huron, Kansas, on August 23, 1898, and died at Wichita, Kansas, on August 11, 1993, at the age of 94 years, 11 months, and 18 days.

She grew up and attended school in Kansas, and attended college.

On December 28, 1922, she was united in marriage to Ralph Donaldson, at Iola, Kansas. He preceded her in death on November 5, 1983. They farmed south of Aurora.

Emma attended the Prairie Gem Church, and at the time of her death was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Aurora Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star #93.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant David, and a daughter Henrietta Frazier.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her son, R. Leavens Donaldson of Cape Coral, Florida; 2 daughters, Parma Harris of Kingman, Kansas, and Marietta Bryant of San Diego, California; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
