Funeral Services were held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 6, 1999 at Page United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Page Cemetery in Page, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: Anna Homolka Dorr

Anna Homolka Dorr, Page, died on Thursday, December 31, 1998, at Aurora, Nebraska, where she had been a patient for several years.

Anna was born in the Linwood area of Nebraska in the Platte River country on January 23, 1901, to Charles and Mary Semard Homolka. She attended schools in that area and later moved with her parents to a ranch south of Chambers. Anna was married to Henry Dorr on October 14, 1920. They raised their family and farmed for many years around O’Neill and Page until Henry’s death. They were preceded in death by an infant son, Gary. She was also preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, a brother, a sister, a half-sister, a half-brother, and three grandchldren.

Her survivors include three sons (L.O. Dorr, Whidbey Island, Washington; Duane Dorr, Page, and Wayne Dorr, Aurora, Nebraska), three daughters (Dorothy Ekelund, Hopland, California; Marguerite Warren, Ft. Bragg, California: and Betty Ulrich, Greeley, Colorado), two sisters (Antoinette Burival, O’Neill, and Adeline Kellar, O’Neill), 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
