Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 2, 1985 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Case Cemetery near Giltner.

OBITUARY: Fred Dreher

Fred Allen Dreher, the son of Edwin and Josephine (Chaney) Dreher, was born at Giltner, Nebraska, on February 10, 1936, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on November 29, 1985, at the age of 49 years, 9 months and 19 days.

He grew up in the Giltner and Aurora area and attended school in both towns.

On December 22, 1979, he was united in marriage to Angeles Alviola, at Aurora.

He had worked for the Armour Meat Packing Company in Central City, later worked for the Nebraska Department of Roads in Grand Island and Aurora, and for the last 6 years he had been employed by the Aurora Co-op Elevator.

Fred was a member of the Aurora First Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin and one brother Richard.

Those who survive to cherish his memory are his wife Angie; a son Edwin; 2 brothers, Harold of Lincoln and James of Grand Island; his mother, Josephine of Aurora, a step-grandmother, Ann Chaney, and many other relatives, friends and co-workers.
