A Memorial Service was held 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 16, 1987 at Higby Mortuary. Inurnment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Mary Eggert

Mary Adelia Henekes was born in Arrington, Kansas, on June 15, 1890 to Noah and Hattie Heneks.

She grew up in Neosho, Missouri.

She married Frank Eggert of Aurora, Nebraska on June 21, 1911. They made their home in Neosho where daughter Agatha was born. Early in 1913 they moved to the Eggert farm west of Aurora where daughter Nadyne and son Emil were born.

In 1941 they moved to Pomona, California where Frank passed away in 1970.

Since 1971 May has been at the Pioneer Memorial Rest Home, in Mullen, Nebraska where she passed away on November 13, 1987.

Mary Eggert was a member of the Christian Church, a 50 year member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Rebekah Lodge.

She was a wonderful housewife and mother and a dear friend to everyone.

Survivors are her children, Agatha Haas and Husband Carter of Miami, Florida, Nadyne Carlson and husband Jack of Mullen, Nebraska, Emile Eggert and wife Betty of Cheyenne, Wyoming; also 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren. Frank Eggert passed away on September 27, 1970 in Pomona, California.
