Marion 'Denny' EnderleMarion ‘Denny’ Enderle, age 86, of Aurora, died Wednesday, September 17, 2008, at the Hamilton Manor. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 19th at the Aurora Cemetery. Rev. Wayne Oblender will officiate. No Visitation. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary website at www.higbymortuary.com. OBITUARY: MARION ‘DENNY’ ENDERLE Marion ‘Denny’ Dale Enderle, the son of Fred L. and Ida B. (Arndt) Enderle, was born in Hampton, Nebraska on September 8, 1922 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on September 17, 2008, at the age of 86. He grew up in Hampton and graduated from Hampton High School. Denny served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was honorably discharged on November 8, 1945. He returned to Aurora to work at the Aurora Creamery. On July 16, 1949, he was united in marriage to Florence K. Sedersten at Grand Island. After their marriage, the couple farmed northeast of Aurora. They retired from farming in 1975 and moved to their present home in Aurora. Florence passed away on August 4, 1996. Denny was a member of the Lutheran Church, the American Legion and V.F.W. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Rodney Enderle and sister-in-law, Betty. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Vicki (Warren) Peterson of Plainview, and Linda (Jeff) Berry of Grand Island, and 6 grandchildren, Laura Peterson, Stacey Peterson and Steve Peterson of Omaha, Matt and Kayla Berry of Grand Island and Alexa and Jessica Berry of Lincoln. |
