Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 6, 1993 at the Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson, Nebraska. Interment was held in the Bethesda Mennonite Cemetery in Henderson.

OBITUARY: Emma Epp

Emma Epp, the daughter of D.K. and Anna (Siebert) Friesen, was born in York County on August 18, 1918, and died at Henderson, Nebraska, on August 4, 1993, at the age of 74 years, 11 months, and 16 days.

She grew up in Hamilton County and attended country schools.

On November 2, 1938, she was united in marriage to Herman H. Epp at Henderson. They farmed south of Henderson, and in 1944 they moved to a farm south of Aurora. In 1974, they retired from farming, and moved into Henderson.

Emma was a member of the Henderson Bethesda Mennonite Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Epp.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband Herman, of Henderson; 3 sons, Roger and his wife Pam, Ardell and his wife Diane of Aurora, and Stanley and his wife Mary of Omaha; 3 daughters, Dara Dean Peters and her husband James of Lincoln, Mary Ellen Pankratz and her husband Bob of Henderson, and Ardenna Friesen and her husband Delmar of Sutton; 2 brothers, Albert D. and Rueben D. Friesen, both of Henderson; one sister, Esther Friesen of Henderson; 17 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
