Funeral Services were held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, December 29, 1994 at the Faith Evangelical Bible Church in Henderson, Nebraska. Interment was held in the EBC Cemetery south of Henderson.

OBITUARY: Katharine Epp

Katharine E. Epp, the daughter of Peter P. Epp and Karharina (Wall) Epp, was born at Henderson, Nebraska, on May 7, 1904, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on December 25, 1994, at the age of 90 years, 7 months, and 18 days.

She grew up near Henderson and attended District School #37. Katharine helped her mother at home when her grandmother came to live with them. When her parents retired and moved into Henderson, she worked part time at Grace Children’s Home. Later, when her parents began to fail, she took care of them. In 1976, she and her sister Marie moved to the Good Samaritan Village in Hastings, where they were busy with volunteer work at the Day Care Center and Senior Center and nursing homes for 6 years. In 1984, they moved to Aurora, and continued volunteering at Day Care Centers and caring for babies. For relaxation they traveled. For the past several years they have resided in nursing homes in Aurora.

Katharine was a member of the Faith Evangelical Bible Church at Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Barbara Regier.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her sister Marie of Aurora, many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
