Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Monday, March 16, 1987 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hampton. Interment was held in the Hampton Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Clemens Erlenbusch

Clemens Johannas Erlenbusch, the son of Jacob and Mathilda (Troester) Erlenbusch, was born at Hampton, Nebraska, on May 2, 1919, and passed away at Omaha, Nebraska, on March 12, 1987, at the age of 67 years, 10 months, and 10 days.

His childhood was spent in the Hampton area, where he attended country school, and in 1936 he graduated from Aurora High School.

On May 20, 1944, he was united in marriage to Delma Hansen at Grand Island. They farmed southeast of Aurora. She preceded him in death on November 3, 1976.

Clemens was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hampton; The Grand Island Eagles Club, and was also a member of the “I’m Still Talking Club.”

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Delma, and one grandson, Jason Erlensusch.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his 3 sons, Richard of Elkhorn, John of Omaha, and Keith of Aurora. One sister, Senta Jacobs of Lincoln; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and many other relatives and friends.
