Albert EvarettsFuneral Services were held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 8, 1988, at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Albert Evaretts Albert Jesse Evaretts, was born at Tipton, Oklahoma, on November 22, 1918, and passed away at Grand Island, Nebraska, on November 5, 1988, at the age of 69 years, 11 months, and 13 days. He grew up at Albion, Nebraska, and attended Newman Grove School. He drove a truck for several years, and from 1940 to 1946, he served his country during World War II in the United States Army. Following his discharge he began trucking again. On December 9, 1950, he was united in marriage to Deloris Peters at Neleigh, Nebraska. They lived at Albion, Wakefield, Wisner and Beemer, and in 1978 he retired because of ill health. In 1980 they moved to Aurora. Albert was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Aurora. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and one grandchild. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Deloris of Aurora; 2 sons Doug of Aurora and Steve of Omaha; one sister Zelma Wehrle of Ottowa, Kansas and 2 grandchildren. |
