Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, February 23, 1988 at the United Lutheran Church in Hampton, Nebraska. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Joseph Fagan

Joseph Edward Fagan, the son of James and Ellen (Hannon) Fagan, was born on a farm north of Hampton, Nebraska, on May 29, 1901, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on February 20, 1988, at the age of 86 years, 8 months and 21 days.

He attended school District #51 in Hamilton County.

On April 21, 1921, he was united in marriage to Minnie Weller, at Archer, Nebraska. They farmed north of Hampton until he semi-retired in 1965, and in 1975, they moved into their present home in Aurora.

Joe was a member of the United Lutheran Church of Hampton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, and 3 brothers.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Minnie of Aurora; one son Larry and his wife Karen of Hampton; one daughter Joan Wert and her husband Keith of Hampton; one brother Kenneth Fagan of Culver City, California; 2 sisters, Louise McNeff of Marysville, California and Celia Johnson of Los Angeles, California; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
