Sandy Ferguson

Sandy Ferguson, age 63, of Aurora, died Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Memorial Hospital in Aurora.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 17th at the Assembly of God Church. Rev. Jim Garfield will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. No Visitation. OBITUARY: SANDY FERGUSON

Sandra Faye Ferguson, the daughter of Earl and Mildred (Fessler) Hammel, was born in Hastings, Nebraska on April 12, 1945 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on December 14, 2008, at the age of 63.

Sandy graduated from Aurora High School in 1963 and then went to work for Frank Edgerton as a secretary.

On May 5, 1964, she was married to Clinton Ferguson. Two children were born to this union: Candace and James. She worked as an Avon lady and certified medication assistant.

Sandy was an active in the Assembly of God Church, where she headed up their prayer chain. Her hobbies included books, movies and sewing. Sandy loved to write and was a member of the Aurora Writer’s Guild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Clinton Ferguson of Waurika, Oklahoma; children, Candace (Mark) Fickenscher of Omaha and James Ferguson of Aurora; grandchildren, Shanael (Justin) Elge and Gabriel Jensen; great-granddaughter, Bella Elge and sister, Pam (Charlie) Jones of Mount Gillead, North Carolina.
