Ed Ferrell

Ed Ferrell, age 48, of Aurora, died Thursday, April 8, 2010, at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 12th at the Higby-McQuiston Chapel in Aurora. Rev. Scott Peace will officiate. No Visitation. Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary website at www.higbymortuary.com.

OBITUARY: ED FERRELL

Eddie Ray Ferrell, the son of Thomas R. Ferrell and Loretta (Hinkle) McLallen, was born at Pueblo, Colorado on September 12, 1961 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on April 8, 2010, at the age of 48.

Ed was raised in Pueblo, Colorado and graduated from East High School. He worked for the Job Corp in Montana. On October 15, 2004, he was married to Lois McCarty at Aurora, Nebraska. Due to his health, Ed was unable to work the last several years.

Ed was a member of Harvest Bible Church. He enjoyed coloring velvet posters and playing video games.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas R. Ferrell; grandparents, George & Pernia Hinkle and uncle, Eddie Hinkle.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lois of Aurora; her children, Andrew (Beth) Fillioe of Nevada, Alyssa (Dan) Harmon of Ohio, Abraham (Jessica) Fillioe of Ohio and Angela Fillioe of Indiana; 5 grandchildren, Joslin Harmon, Matthew Harmon, Madison Fillioe, Chloe Fillioe and Miah Fox; mother & step-father, Loretta & Thomas McLallen, Jr. of Pueblo, Colorado; 3 brothers, Bob Ferrell of Washington, Sam Ferrell and Tom L. (Olivia) McLallen III, all of Pueblo, Colorado; sister, Lisa (Pat) Maes of Pueblo, Colorado and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation, American Diabetes Association or Hospice.
