John FeuersteinFuneral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 3, 1984 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: John W. Feuerstein John Wilhelm Feuerstein, the son of Henry and Christina Kearns Feuerstein, was born in Russia on November 28, 1895. His death occurred at Aurora, Nebraska, on March 1, 1984 having attainted the age of 88 years, 8 months and 3 days. He came to the United States on the last voyage of the “Mayflower” at the age of three years. On February 2, 1920 he was united in marriage to Mary Roth at Lincoln, Nebraska. They farmed in the south part of Hamilton County for 36 years and then moved to a farm near Harvard, Nebraska. In 1980 they moved to Aurora where he has since resided. His wife preceded him in death on July 21, 1981. He continued to make his home in Aurora. He was also preceded in death by one son Virgil, who died in the service of his country during World War II and one sister Mrs. Margaret Schreiner. Jack, as his many friends knew him is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Arlene VanWormer of Aurora; Mrs. Dorothy Lentz of Norton, Kansas and Mrs. Judy Carlson of Columbus, Nebraska; three sisters, Mrs. Mollie Nelson of Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. Lizzie Ott of Aurora and Mrs. Lena Dick of Caldwell, Idaho; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and other relatives and close friends. |
