Dolores FishMemorial Services were held 2:00 P.M., Thursday afternoon at the Belden Presbyterian Church. Inurnment was held in the Belden Cemetery. OBITUARY: Dolores Fish Dolores Rae Fish, the daughter of Merle and Alvena (Miller) Tietsort, was born at Walthill, Nebraska, on April 28, 1928, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on November 16, 1997, at the age of 68 years, 6 months, and 18 days. She grew up in Wayne, Nebraska, graduated from Wayne High School, and attended Wayne State Teacher’s College. On October 22, 1950, she was united in marriage to Earl Fish at Wayne, Nebraska. They farmed west of Belden, Nebraska, until they retired and moved to Aurora in 1992. Dolores was a long time member of the Belden Presbyterian Church, was active in church groups, the Belden Cemetery Association, and Royal Neighbors. At the time of her death she was a member of the Aurora Presbyterian United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her father, one daughter, and one brother. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband Earl of Aurora; 3 sons, Mike of Aurora, Steve and his wife Judy of Kearney, and Brian of Falls City; one daughter Bonnie DeMent of Hebron; a brother Rod Tietsort of Denver; a sister Judy Carlson of Winside; her mother Alvena Tietsort of Wayne; 5 grandchildren, nephews, nieces and many friends. |
