Lucile Hutsell Foote, age 103, of Central Point, Oregon, formerly of Marquette, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at Central Point, Oregon.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, October 17th at the Higby-McQuiston Chapel in Aurora. Pastor Jay Vetter will officiate. Interment will be in Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: LUCILE HUTSELL FOOTE

Lucile Hutsell Foote, the daughter of Glenn Bernelle and Margaret Adilla (Lloyd) Oglesby, was born on December 1, 1905, in Charleston, Nebraska and died in Central Point, Oregon on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at the age of 103 years.

She grew up near York and graduated from York High School. Following her graduation she attended Normal Training in York and then was a school teacher in York County.

Lucile was united in marriage to Eugene Hutsell on November 6, 1926 in Wahoo, Nebraska. Following their marriage they farmed in Hamilton County. They farmed south of Hampton from 1926 to 1942 and later east of Marquette from 1942 to 1956. Eugene passed away on July 31, 1952.

Lucile was united in marriage to Laurel Foote on November 14, 1976 in Marquette, Nebraska. He passed away on November 25, 1980.

Lucile was a member of the Evangelical United Brethern Church in Marquette where she was a Sunday School Teacher in the 7th and 8th grade and later adult classes. She was also youth sponsor for several years. Lucile has had a strong faith in God since childhood.

She enjoyed family activities, cooking for larger gatherings and gardening and flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Donald, Keith and Dale Hutsell, daughters, Donna Hutsell in infancy and Lola Lee Land, three brothers and three sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Darold (Kathy) Hutsell of Central Point, Oregon; 13 grandchildren, Karen (Tony) Cranford, Steve Land, Scott (Tammi) Land, Brian Hutsell, Larry (Lisa) Hutsell, Jackie (Les) Adelung, Kevin (Renee) Hutsell, Monica (Scott) Richert, Rick Hutsell, Randy Hutsell, Ron Hutsell, Jay (Stephanie) Hutsell and Tammy (Jim) Davidson; and 23 great-grandchildren, Cory, Britney, Tifney, Emily, Jeff, Matt, Stephanie, Trevor, Riley, Austin, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Melissa, Kyle, Amy, Trey, Bethany, Joelle, Abbie, Lily, Crystal, Nate and Becca.
