Kent Forsman

Kent Forsman, age 54, formerly of Aurora, died Thursday, April 8, 2004.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 10th at the Aurora Cemetery. Rev. Rick Prettyman will officiate. Family and friends will gather at the mortuary one-hour prior to service. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. OBITUARY: KENT FORSMAN

Kent Eugene Forsman, the son of Ivan William and Allene Mabel (Rath) Forsman, was born at Aurora, Nebraska on September 5, 1949 and died in rural Merrick County, Nebraska on April 8, 2004, at the age of 54.

He grew up northwest of Aurora near Phillips and graduated from Aurora High School in 1967.

Kent was married to Bonita Ernst on September 16, 1972 at Aurora. Two sons were born to them, Eric and Brett. Kent worked at Riverside Country Club Golf Course. He also worked on several farms and drove a cattle truck for a while. Kent enjoyed being outside and working outside.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Eric (Sara) Forsman of Liberty, MO and Brett Forsman of Wayne. He is also survived by his brother, Richard (Judy) Forsman of Omaha and sister, Patricia (Paul) Bunger of Sioux Falls, SD and two nieces and two nephews.
