LeReta FowlerFuneral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, December 1, 1993 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: LeReta Fowler LeReta Fowler, the daughter of Wallace and Della Squire, was born at Seymour, Iowa, on April 27, 1899, an died at Aurora, Nebraska, on November 28, 1993, at the age of 94 years, 7 months, and 1 day. She grew up and attended school in Seymour, attended normal training school, and later taught school. On June 11, 1921, she was united in marriage to Andrew Fowler, at Aurora. He preceded her in death on November 22, 1964. They lived in Aurora all of their married life. She entered the Hamilton Manor in January of 1989. LeReta was a member of the Aurora First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant daughter Martha Ann, a daughter Donna Carlson; 2 brothers, Paul and John Squire and a sister Marie VanGundy. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her daughter, Mary Jane Melius of Omaha; 4 grandchildren, Marcia Carlson, Susan Campbell, Judy Melius, and Linda Pettit; and 2 great grandchildren. |
