Dorothy H. Frame

Dorothy Frame, age 94, of Lincoln, passed away Monday, December 27, 2010, at Gramercy Hill in Lincoln.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 29th at the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary. Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary website at www.higbymortuary.com.

OBITUARY: DOROTHY FRAME

Dorothy Helen Frame, the daughter of Herbert R. and Della L. (Matthes) Parris, was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on January 24, 1916 and died in Lincoln, Nebraska on December 27, 2010, at the age of 94.

She was raised in Lincoln, Marquette and Aurora. Dorothy graduated from Marquette High School in 1934. In 1936, the family moved to Aurora where Dorothy was employed at the Farmers Union Creamery for several years.

In 1940, Dorothy was married to Edmund D. Frame and they made their home in Lincoln. While Ed was in the service, Dorothy worked at the Lincoln Air Base. She also worked for a short period of time in the 1960’s at Tabitha Health Care. Ed passed away on November 10, 1964.

Her family and grandchildren were her life. She was well-known for her fabulous pies that she so generously shared.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Bob in 2007 and two brothers Robert & Earl Parris.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three grandchildren, Michelle Frame, Derek Frame and Abby Archer all of Lincoln; two great-grandchildren, Ava and Ira; sister, JoAnn (Norm) Luthy of Aurora and daughter-in-law, Kathy Frame of Lincoln.
