Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, November 1, 1997 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Esther Freeman

Esther Jennie (Wilson) Freeman, the daughter of Christian and Jenny (Bendstrup) Wilson, was born at Marquette, Nebraska, on April 2, 1900, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on October 30, 1997, at the age of 97 years, 6 months, and 28 days.

She grew up and graduated from Marquette High School, and attended Lincoln Business College.

On August 16, 1925, she was united in marriage to Virgil Freeman at Marquette. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1979.

After their marriage they lived in Lincoln until they retired and moved to a farm near Milford. In 1969, they moved to Aurora. In March of 1994, she entered the Memorial Community Care in Aurora.

Esther was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, John and Alvin Wilson, and one sister Blanche Wilson.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.
