Helen FultonFuneral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 25, 1985 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Grand Island City Cemetery. OBITUARY: Helen Fulton Helen Vernon Fulton, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Sawens) Johns, was born at Hampton, Nebraska, on February 22, 1894, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on March 21, 1985, at the age of 91 years and 29 days. She grew up in the Hampton area and graduated from Hampton High School. Her later years were spent in the Aurora area. She lived in Grand Island for a number of years before returning to Aurora where she has since resided. In May 1975 she moved into the Hamilton Manor. Helen was a very family oriented woman and was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Florence Kelly and one son Max Fulton, who lost his life in the service of his country. Those who remain to cherish her memory are 4 daughters, Bethel Gordon of Grand Island, Elaine Stevens of Asheboro, North Carolina, Jean Dixson of Annapolis, Maryland and Margaret Stewart of Manhattan Beach, California; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and other relatives and close friends. |
