Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Monday, November 14, 1994 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: “Corky” Fye

Corda Lee Fye, the son of Corda and Alice (Williams) Fye was born at Marquette, Nebraska, on August 5, 1932, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on November 11, 1994, at the age of 62 years, 3 months, and 6 days.

“Corky” was physically challenged and he lived with his mother in Aurora, until she entered a nursing home, then he lived independently for several years, until he entered Community Care of America in Aurora in April of 1991. He enjoyed riding his bicycle downtown and meeting people. He was a member of the Association for Retarded Citizens, and was active in the Special Olympics, had won many trophies in bowling, and enjoyed bowling has long as his health permitted.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Don.

Survivors include 2 aunts, one uncle, and nieces and nephews.
