Rose Gardner

Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Monday, January 19, 1998 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hampton, Nebraska. Interment was held at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: Rose Gardner

Rose Christine Gardner, the daughter of Henry and Otillie (Mueller) Rahrs, was born at Hampton, Nebraska, on November 2, 1905, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on January 16, 1998, at the age of 92 years, 2 months, and 4 days.

She grew up and attended school at Hampton. In 1942, she moved to Lincoln, where she resided until she returned to Aurora. On September 28, 1987, she entered the Hamilton Manor in Aurora.

On July 22, 1951, she was united in marriage to Deacon R. Gardner at Hampton. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1955.

Rose was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Clarence and Elmer Rahrs; and four sisters, Lena Reetz, Marcella Driewer, Lydia Maronde, and Alma Rahrs.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her brother Alvin Rahrs of Aurora, and nieces and nephews.
