Maxine Gimpel

Maxine Gimpel, age 83, of Blue Eye, Missouri, formerly of Aurora, died Monday, March 2, 2009, at Carroll County Nursing Home in Berryville, Arkansas.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 7th at the Higby-McQuiston Chapel in Aurora. Rev. Sam Fox will officiate. Interment will be in Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: MAXINE GIMPEL

Maxine Helen Gimpel, the daughter of Herman Henry and Winifred Margaret (Hosier) Dieckman, was born in Giltner, Nebraska on April 28, 1925 and died in Berryville, Arkansas on March 2, 2009, at the age of 83.

She grew up in Giltner and graduated from Aurora High School.

Maxine married Wayne Gimpel on September 2, 1944 at Mankato, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, son-in-law, Ron Razzey and daughter-in-law, Jane Gimpel.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Wayne Gimpel of Blue Eye, Missouri; three children, James (Pat) Gimpel of Waverly, Iowa and Charlotte (Steve) Lockhart of La Porte, Colorado, and Deb (Tony) Parton of Berryville, Arkansas; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
